문태영의 비신사적인 행동, 퇴장을 줄 수 있을까?

23일, 잠실실내체육관에서 열린 삼성과 SK와의 경기에서 문태영의 눈살 찌푸려지는 플레이가 나왔다. "저런 건 바로 퇴장 줘야 하는 거 아니냐"라는 댓글이 많은데 과연 심판은 문태영에게 퇴장(Disqualifying foul)을 줄 수 있을까.

국제농구연맹(FIBA) 규칙을 보면 381.1. A disqualifying foul is any flagrant unsportsmanlike action by a player or team bench personnel. D파울은 flagrant(노골적인, 명백한) unsportsmanlike(비신사적인) action(행동)이라고 한다. 규칙에는 적합하므로 문태영에게 퇴장을 줄 수 있다.

38.2. Penalty

38.2.1. A disqualifying foul shall be charged against the offender.

38.2.2. Whenever the offender is disqualified according to the respective articles of these rules, he shall go to and remain in his team's dressing room for the duration of the game or, if he so chooses, he shall leave the building.

(이 조항의 규정에 의하여 실격되는 파울을 범한 사람은 경기에서 퇴장 당하며, 남은 경기 중 자기 팀 대기실에 있어야 하며, 본인이 원하면 경기장 건물을 떠날 수도 있다.)

38.2.3. Free throw(s) shall be awarded:

• To any opponent, as designated by his coach in the case of a non-contact foul.

• To the player who was fouled in the case of a contact foul.

Followed by:

• A throw-in at the centre line extended, opposite the scorer’s table.

• A jump ball in the centre circle to begin the first period.

38.2.4. The number of free throws shall be awarded as follows:

• If the foul is a non-contact foul: 2 free throws.(2개의 프리드로 시행)

• If the foul is committed on a player not in the act of shooting: 2 free throws.

• If the foul is committed on a player in the act of shooting: the goal, if made, shall count and in addition 1 free throw.

• If the foul is committed on a player in the act of shooting and the goal is not made: 2 or 3 free throws.
